Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Mathematics)

Job Summary
- Grundtvig International Secondary School seeks to employ a Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in the school.
- He/she will work with the subject teachers to provide personalised academic support to students who require additional guidance, practice, or clarification of mathematical concepts. This role is distinct from remedial classes and focuses on small-group and one-on-one academic support, enabling closer engagement with learners and improved understanding.
- The position also involves assisting with lesson delivery, class activities, assessments, and general academic mentoring.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A good First Degree (B.Ed, or B.Sc [Ed]) in Mathematics or a related discipline.
- 1 – 3 years’ relevant teaching or academic support experience (including teaching practice).
- Strong knowledge of secondary school Mathematics curriculum.
- Ability to explain concepts clearly, patiently, and logically.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and work under supervision.
- Passion for teaching and student academic development.
