    Fully Funded Rotary Peace Fellowships Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

    Rotary Peace Fellowships are intended for professionals with experience in international relations, peacekeeping, and conflict resolution. Additionally, applicants must meet the following requirements:

    For Master’s Degree Program:

    • Be proficient in English.
    • Have a bachelor’s degree.
    • Have a strong dedication to cross-cultural understanding and peace, as demonstrated through professional and academic achievements, as well as personal or community service

    • Have at least three years of full-time experience in peacekeeping or development work.

    You are ineligible if you are an active Rotary member, employee of a Rotary chapter, Rotary International, or another Rotary organization.

    How to Apply for Rotary Peace Fellowships Scholarship

    To apply for Rotary Peace Fellowships, you must follow the requirements below:

    • Check the curriculum and programs at each of the Rotary Peace Centers: If you match the eligibility requirements for both programs, you will be asked to choose your top two preferred centers for the master’s program.
    • Connect with Rotary: Use the Club Finder to find a Rotary or Rotaract club near you. Connecting with a Rotary club or district is an excellent opportunity to learn about Rotary’s activities both locally and globally. Many Rotary districts have a District Rotary Peace Fellowship Subcommittee Chair who can offer mentorship and help with your application. A club or district recommendation is optional, but highly recommended as part of your application.
    • Read the application overview to learn the steps involved: When you start an application, you will see an overview with more instructions on how to submit a full and complete application. Candidates must offer original and authentic content that reflects their personal experience, knowledge, and motivation. The use of generative AI content and plagiarism will easily disqualify your application.
    • Collect the required paperwork: Applications must include a resume, academic and/or professional recommendations, a personal statement video and essays, transcripts from postsecondary colleges and universities attended (master’s only), English language proficiency test results (master’s only), and a social impact plan (certificate only). Allow enough time to obtain university transcripts and apply for IELTS or TOEFL exams, if your program requires them. All content must be in English.
    • Submit your application between February and 15 May 2026: All submissions are considered final once submitted. Before submitting your application, be sure to include your academic and/or professional recommendations, as well as any Rotary club or district recommendations (optional).
    • Wait for qualification notification and selection outcomes: If you are selected for a fellowship, you will be told in November which Rotary Peace Center will host your study.
    • Apply for admission to the university that hosts your Peace Center: Being selected for the fellowship does not imply that you have been admitted to the university.
