Role Overview
- The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, equipment, and services required for the company’s operations, ensuring value for money, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services in line with company requirements
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and processes
- Work closely with warehouse, technical, and finance teams to meet operational needs
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in procurement
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good understanding of procurement best practices
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP systems is an advantage.
Salary
N500,000 / Month.
